My wife and I are still willing to host a displaced family in our home while they get back on their feet after Katrina.
I've gotten some e-mails from other people with homes to share, and I was quoted in this morning's Star Tribune (the reporter saw my message on Craigslist). Apparently my offer also got a mention on the local public radio station. So far, though, we've had no takers. If you know someone who has been displaced by Katrina, there are homes available in the Twin Cities for however long it takes. Posted at 02:38 PM | Permalink | | | |
