The first major snowstorm of the season is in the process of fizzling. Big-time.
They promised as much as 8 inches of snow. Here it is, about halfway through the storm, and there's barely an icing on the grass. Now they're saying that we might get a couple inches. The problem is that it just didn't get cold enough fast enough. We had quite a bit of rain--and if it had been ten degrees colder, we probably would have six inches of snow on the ground right now. It started raining last night, but we didn't even get the first actual snow until a couple hours ago. Better luck next time. Posted at 08:18 PM | Permalink | | | |
