A few days off means its time to do chores. In my case, that includes doing a bunch of site upgrades I've been meaning to do for a while.

So, if things seem to change a lot over the next week, don't panic. That's just me tinkering.

More to come. As should be obvious by now, I'm not a graphic designer or a web-site designer (though I have been unwillingly pushed into that role on occasion). So, my rule of thumb for design is always: boring is better. I'm less likely to get myself into trouble with a boring design than if I try to do something really flashy and cool which either doesn't work or looks ugly.

Oh, and did I mention that I'm red/green colorblind? Aside from being confusing as all heck at Christmastime, it means I can't be confident that my choices for colors will look good to anyone else. So, stick with the greyscale palette, yessir.
