Hook, Line, and Sinker

My iPod Shuffle arrived today. I've used it a total of, oh, fifteen minutes. I'm already totally hooked.
I have a lot of CDs I've collected, mostly from my college days. Pretty eclectic, with everything from Yello to Enya to Billy Joel to The Beatles and ZZ Top.

Outside of the car, I haven't really listened to much music the past decade or so. A few years ago, I ripped a lot of it into iTunes, but never did much with it.

Now, every song it plays brings back memories. Like I forgot how cool this is and How long has it been since I listened to that?

It feels a little like when I rigged up a 50-foot cord to my headphones so I could listen to CDs anywhere in my apartment. But without the cord.

As a bonus, I now have a flash drive for carrying my PowerPoint presentations around. I'm speaking at a conference in two weeks....I can't wait to try it out.
