Saturday - January 10, 2004 at 03:37 AM inVolunteers needed in the Twin Cities area
The Science Museum of Minnesota needs a few adults to volunteer as youth mentors for the MyBEST program. This is a new program (just started back in November) which is aimed at helping teens learn problem solving and technology skills through cooperative projects.
Volunteers will need to attend a training session on Jan. 24th, and commit to about a dozen afternoons (3-6 PM) over the next several months. I can put anyone who is interested in touch with the right people at SMM.
