Ugh.

I have the stomach bug today. So does She Who Puts Up With Me. She has it worse: She has been sleeping all morning (ever since I left with the kids for preschool). I tried to put in a day at the office, but gave up after about an hour.

I had to cancel a lunch meeting with the CEO of another company here in town. Given my condition, lunch would not have been a pleasant experience. For either of us.

After going home, I climbed into bed and slept for over two hours. Keep in mind that I'm not the kind of person who can easily take a nap. Even on the weekends, when the kids are napping and She is napping, I don't usually find myself tired.

Not today.

I felt much better after my little nap, better enough to hope that I might be myself again tomorrow. Cross your fingers.
