After my rant about the weather yesterday , today dawned bright, warm, and clear, the kind of Indian Summer day which makes you want to grab one last fistful of September before February gets here.
I decided, after the thermometer hit 60, that it was a sin to stay inside. When one of my employees asked to play hooky, I did the same, taking a couple hours off in the middle of the afternoon to crack open the hangar, dust the wings off the plane, and go for a little spin. With twins and a startup to take care of, I don't get at much time to fly as I would like. A couple hours isn't enough time to do much more than preflight, do some sightseeing, and a few laps around the traffic pattern. But that was enough for today. Posted at 03:37 AM | Permalink | | | |
